visitRaleigh.com is presenting a costume contest at the 9th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge (K2C), Feb. 9, 2013!

Gear up for a friendly competition to raise awareness for the 2013 K2C and to celebrate people who dress up and run the event! Runner costumes will be judged on a variety of levels with awards/prizes mailed to the winners on Feb. 11. Most importantly, judges will be looking for costumes that coincide with the Raleigh area's appeal for visitors; they should be smart, unexpected, celebratory and dynamic!

There will be a choice of two contestant entry divisions:

1. Single Contestant Division: only a single person may enter the contest as one entrant. The grand prize winner will receive a Nike+ FuelBand (a $150 value).
   
   The Nike+ FuelBand uses a sports-tested accelerometer to measure your movement in NikeFuel, a universal metric of activity. Sync with the Nike+ FuelBand app and see your activity history, stay motivated and connect with your friends.
   
   
2. Group Contestant Division: two or more persons may enter the contest as one entrant. The grand prize winner will receive a $200 gift certificate to a restaurant of your choice, as indicated by the primary group contact person below.
   
   The restaurant establishment must have a physical location in Wake County. Check out the gigantic list of Wake County restaurants here!

Here's how to enter:

• Fill out the form below! Only one entry is needed to register a group. By entering, you are also signing up to receive future visitor information customized to Adrenaline Junkie visitors of Greater Raleigh. Must be at least 18 years of age to enter. (view privacy policy)
• Wear your costume to the K2C and sign in at the visitRaleigh.com table near the N.C. State Bell Tower prior to the official start of the race. Each Entrant must wear his or her costume to the Krispy Kreme Challenge, Feb. 9, 2013, and sign in at the visitRaleigh.com table near the N.C. State Bell Tower at the intersection of Hillsborough St. and Pullen Rd. prior to the official start of the race. At that table, staff will take a photo of each Entrant, which will be used for the website as part of a gallery and/or www.pinterest.com/visitraleigh and used to judge the winner in each division. Each Entrant must bring his or her race/registration number when he or she signs in. The winners will be announced at the end of the race and online on Mon., Feb. 11.
