Things to Do in Zebulon

  • Root for the home team (or your favorite hometown team when they play) and catch a classic baseball game with the Single-A Carolina Mudcats throughout the spring and summer at Five County Stadium.

  • Try your hand at 18-hole disc golf at the Zebulon Community Park's disc golf course, one of the top courses in the state... a 57-par, 6,439-ft. and moderately hilly and woody course. (Discs not provided at park.)
  • Wander through room after room in historic buildings and shop downtown's family-owned Whitley Furniture Galleries. You'll also want to check out Bednam Hardware, with an old-time hardware store atmosphere and just a block over from Whitley.
  • Visitors and kids can also be active at one of the six community parks: Community Park, Whitley Park, Little River Park, Gill Street Park or Wakelon and Zebulon Elementary Park.
  • Tour the Zebulon Town Hall, a beautiful, 100-year-old building hosting the work of local artists.
  • Fuel up for the day with a big Southern breakfast at McLean's Ole Time Cafe, family-owned and -operated since 1956. Barham's Restaurant is also a local-favorite mom-and-pop spot for breakfast in downtown Zebulon.
  • Head to Stone Ridge Farm Market for some of the freshest N.C.-grown fruits and vegetables or for a local farm tour.
  • Grab a hamburger or hot dog at Hillbillies, owned by the same family who owns Ole Time Cafe! You can also get a variety of Southern items at Fargo Cattle Company Steakhouse. The small-town feel makes for comfortable, cozy atmospheres at all the restaurants!
