Loretta Yingling Honored As Supplier of The Year From N.C. Society of Government Meeting Professionals
LORETTA YINGLING HONORED AS SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR FROM
N.C. SOCIETY OF GOVERNMENT MEETING PROFESSIONALS
(RALEIGH, N.C.) May 2009 - The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau is
proud to announce National Sales Manager, Loretta Yingling, has been recognized as
Supplier of the Year by the N.C. Society of Government Meeting Professionals (NCSGMP).
This prestigious award recognizes a member of NC-SGMP in good standing who is
nominated by industry peers and hand-selected by members of the organization's Board
of Directors. The Supplier of the Year award is a reflection of a member's dedication to
the NC-SGMP chapter and its membership.
"The Supplier of the Year award is a tremendous honor for not only Loretta, but the
Bureau as well," said Denny Edwards, president and CEO of the GRCVB. "Loretta is a
valued member of the Bureau sales team and she continues to prove herself as a
dedicated and committed member of the meetings and conventions industry."
Yingling has been a member of the Bureau team since 2006 as a National Sales Manager
focusing on the Eastern United States for groups of 40-attendees or more. This year she
received the Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation and currently serves on the
Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International - Carolinas Chapter.
Previously she has served terms on committees for NC-SGMP and Association
Executives of North Carolina.
