Raleigh, N.C. - Meredith College will be the host institution for the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Tennis Championships held from May 21-26, 2012.  The event will be held at the Cary Tennis Park located at 2727 Louis Stephens Drive in Cary, N.C.  This is the first time that Meredith College has been a host of an NCAA championship and will get to host two team championships as well as the individual crowns for both men and women.

"Meredith College is proud to be serving as the host school for the 2012 NCAA Division III tennis championships being held at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.  Cary is a wonderful town and the tennis park is a beautiful, outstanding facility with a strong staff that will provide the student-athletes participating in the tournament an outstanding tennis experience.  Meredith College has a rich history of success in the sport of tennis and this will be a great opportunity for our players to witness Division III tennis at the highest level," said Meredith Athletics Director Jackie Myers.

The Town of Cary is the facility host and will provide the courts and support for the tournament.  They have held the Atlantic Coast Conference Tennis Championships at the facility and will use the same set up to make the tournament a success.

"The Town is proud to partner with Meredith College to bring the NCAA Men's and Women's Division III Tennis Championships to Cary in May 2012.  The help and support provided by the staff and students at Meredith College will ensure the success of the championship.  As an NCAA Championship City, the Town of Cary is fortunate to have strong partnerships with the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau and host institutions, such as Meredith College, to bring NCAA Championships to the area.  These events provide the citizens of our community the opportunity to attend NCAA Championship events in a variety of sports, and they also provide a positive impact to the local economy," said Linda Smith, Business Development Manager for the Town of Cary.
