Celebrating 45 nationalities and attracting more than 35,000 attendees, the 24th Annual International Festival is a great opportunity to explore. Lasting from Oct. 2-4, this weekend cultural event is packed with music, food, exhibitions, dance and art!
With spectacular fireworks and beautiful performances, the Diwali Festival of Lights on Oct. 10 showcases Indian culture. Following this full-day event, Eid – Festival of Feast, will take place on Oct. 11, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. There will be plenty of art, dance, music, and of course, food!
Moore Square will be home to the LGBT Center of Raleigh’s “Coming Out” party on Oct. 17, a celebration with the LGBT community. Then, of course, we can’t forget about the 09 N.C. State Fair from Oct. 15-25!
