We’ve all got a favorite holiday story, and luckily for Greater Raleigh, there are plenty of performances going on throughout December.  Two of these performances, A Christmas Carol and A Christmas Story, are sure to blow you and your family away.  Seeing both is optional, but seeing at least one of them is definitely a must!

The Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts will host the spectacular performance of the timeless holiday classic movie, A Christmas Story.  This story follows a nine-year-old named Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas.  This show is perfect for families but is sure to entertain people of all ages.  To find tickets, visit this site.

Theatre In The Park has created an original musical comedy adaptation of A Christmas Carol, based on the book by Charles Dickens and adapted for the stage.  Approximately 30,000 people attend this local tradition, which first premiered in 1974.  Tickets can be found here.
