Are you looking for a little fun in the sun? Are you visiting from out of town and looking for free things to do in the area?  The Six Sundays in Spring concert series in Wake Forest is the perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy some great music without having to spend a dime.

Each Sunday from May 1st to June 5th, E. Carroll Joyner Park will come alive with performances of all genres.  Depending on the Sunday, you may hear the reggae and island tunes of Dub Addis, the country rock of Jeanne Jolly, the jazz of Marcus Anderson, some great bluegrass or relaxing blues.

All concerts start at 5 p.m. and, while refreshments and snacks are available, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic. If you find yourself in Greater Raleigh on a Sunday during the next few months, then you know where to be for a great time, free of charge.
