Many adults these days have fond childhood memories of playing with the classic LEGO building blocks. While these toys are still wildly popular, some of you will rejoice over the opportunity to pull your kids away from their gaming consoles and whisk them away to the hands-on, minds-on LEGO KidsFest.

Coming to the Raleigh Convention Center October 7th – 9th, LEGO KidsFest is an entertainment- and activity-packed event that is friendly to families of all ages. Whether this is your kid’s first time playing with LEGOs or your whole family builds with them on a regular basis, chances are that each of you will have a blast tapping into your building creativity.

In the LEGO Model Museum, you can walk among both miniature and life-size models constructed entirely of LEGOs. You and the kids can build away in the LEGO Activity Area or take some lessons at the Master Builder Academy to sharpen up on the latest techniques. Watch live demonstrations by master builders who actually get paid to play, and contribute your own works of LEGO art to a Mystery Mural Build or the Creation Nation wall. No matter where you turn, there will be plenty of hands-on fun for everyone.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and children ages three to 17, and free for children two and under. Get a $2 discount on each ticket when you purchase them online and use discount code VR11. Don’t miss out on this awesome family-friendly opportunity.
