Celebrate Greater Raleigh Beer Month, Apr., with a pint and a bite. While many of the Raleigh area breweries feature food trucks, there are several breweries that operate full-service dining establishments. Combine dinner and tastings and give these five brewery-restaurants a try.

Aviator Smokehouse
Wings and slow-smoked meats are the stars at Aviator Brewing Company's restaurant, but burger lovers will be happy, too. Wed. is Taco Night, with smoked pork or chicken tacos, one beer and a side for $6.99. The brewery's Tap House and Beer Shop are both across the street, and the brewery itself is only two miles down the road. Learn more

Boylan Bridge Brewpub
With an amazing outdoor view of downtown Raleigh and adjacent to a bridge over a railway, the brewery's menu pays a nod to trains. The Handcar Nachos and the Switchback Pretzel will delight as appetizers. We recommend the Orient Express, an Asian chicken wrap. Learn more

Lynnwood Grill and Brewing Concern
This brewery-restaurant curbs your appetite with pizza, calzones, burgers, house-made desserts and more. It even has a special kids menu. In this particular case, the restaurant was established long before the brewery. Won two World Beer Bup medals (gold and silver) in 2014. Learn more

Natty Greene's Pub & Brewing
The brewhouse, in a Colonial American-style dining room, serves up burgers, sandwiches and hearty entrees like crabcakes and hanger steak. Salad lovers will enjoy the wide variety of greens available, from the Hail Caesar to the Dogwood with grilled hanger steak. Learn more

Trophy Brewing Company
Named the "Best Pizzeria in N.C." by Thrillist (Nov. 2014). The menu is simple. Pizza and fresh salads, but oh, do they do pizza well. It's like a farm exploded on the pizza with creations like the "Farmer's Market" with carrots, mushrooms and cauliflower. The "Best Dressed" will delight meat lovers. You can also build your own pizza. Learn more
