PLEASE REVIEW THESE GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING NEW EVENTS:

  1. Events should be held in Wake County, N.C. The Greater Raleigh CVB is the official destination marketing organization for Raleigh and Wake County, promoting the attractions, businesses and events within the county.
  2. Events should have appeal for visitors to the Raleigh area (from 50+ miles away). Events that are judged to have little or no appeal for either day-trip or overnight visitors cannot be posted in the calendar. Sometimes these events with little or no visitor appeal may be local charity fund-raising or philanthropic endeavors or political rallies directed at Wake County voters; these will better reach their intended audiences through listings on other, community-oriented calendars.
  3. Events should be open to the public. Events for “members only” cannot be posted in the calendar; the general public must be able to attend, though admission can be charged at events posted.
  4. Events should not be a commercial, profit-making venture only. Events whose primary purpose is to sell the products or services of a particular business cannot be posted in the calendar; examples include product demonstrations and some educational seminars. Many consumer shows, trade shows featuring multiple businesses and grand openings have greater entertainment or visitor appeal, however, and can be posted.

Fill out the fields below in order to have your events listed in our online calendar. Please note: Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an approval process to make sure that it contains all the information needed to be added. You will be notified if your event cannot be approved.
