Lawn Seats
The Raleigh area is known as a premier live music destination and
May starts the 2008 concert season off with more than 10 concerts
ranging from hip hop to traditional folk music. The RBC Center provides
a stage for Van Halen (5/5) while the Time Warner Music Pavilion at
Walnut Creek welcomes the hip hop tunes of Kanye West

Take Me Out to the Ball Game(s)
The temperature isn't the only thing to rise in May, Raleigh's sporting
scene continues to heat up with a roster of matchups. The Carolina
Mudcats (5/1-3, 5/10-14, 5/21-25), Greater Raleigh's AA baseball
team, are in full swing while across town the UNC Tarheel
Baseball (5/6-7, 5/13) team, continue to make themselves
at home at USA Baseball's National Training Complex in Cary. Grab
a seat in the stands and cheer on the Carolina Railhawks
(5/16, 5/18, 5/24, 5/28), professional soccer team as they "bend it
like Beckham" to chase the USL first division championship title.
