Triangle Glides (Segway tours/SUP lessons)
Shall it be land or water? At Triangle Glides, we're all about outdoor fun! Join us for a history-filled Segway tour of downtown Raleigh, balancing on a technological marvel called the Segway personal transporter. Or head out to one of our beautiful local lakes and go for a glide on the water by learning the basics of stand up paddleboarding!
For our Segway tours, our expert guides will teach you how to ride, or as we say "glide," and then lead you on a memorable journey to explore the highlights of our great Capital City. Segway tours are offered year round.
If you'd rather get out on the water and learn to stand up paddle, also known as SUP, you can join us at Raleigh's Lake Wheeler and Lake Johnson for an introduction to the fastest growing watersport in the world! Lessons are offered in season, May through October. In our small group lessons, our instructors will show you the basics of SUP to get you started in this exciting water activity - it's like walking on water! We'll provide the board, paddle, and personal flotation device. You bring your enthusiasm and zest for adventure!
No matter what your preference, Segway touring or stand up paddleboarding, extraordinary adventures begin with Triangle Glides.
Segway tours: Minimum age 14. All riders must weigh between 100-260 lbs. Stand up paddleboarding lessons: Minimum age 12.
