13th Annual African American Cultural Celebration

January 25, 2014

Join us for the statewide kickoff to Black History Month by celebrating our state’s diverse African American heritage and culture! This year’s theme, From Jubilee to Justice, honors landmark civil rights and voting rights legislation with musicians, storytellers, dancers, historians, chefs and other guests who help define and work for freedom. This year’s event is funded in part by the Raleigh Arts Commission and the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, with funds from the N.C. African American Heritage Commission, PNC, IBM and the N.C. Museum of History Associates.
