Can buildings improve your life? In conjunction with a conference for Traditional Architecture, Oak City Preservation Alliance is hosting a public presentation and forum. Two presentations will be followed by question and answer sessions. While there is no charge to attend, please register at the event website so that we may get a head count and make sure the space is comfortable. The speakers and presentations are: Dan Morales, Washington, DC, A Gift to the Street: How to Speak about the Importance of Architectural Beauty; and Tom Low, Charlotte, NC: City Transformations featuring Southside in Greensboro. Both speakers are accomplished architects and urban planners.
