Go Global NC and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) invite you to join the next Global Leaders Foreign Policy Lunch and Learn HQ Raleigh’s Cannon Room in the Capital Club building. The catered lunch will open at noon and the program will begin at 12:30pm. An expert speaker will address the group for approximately 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A. Robert Gerber, the chief of staff for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, will share his experience representing U.S. economic interests in Washington, D.C., Europe, the United Nations and international trade negotiations. Go Global NC’s Global Leaders program provides civic leaders with effective, outcome-focused programming on how to engage complex issues to benefit North Carolina as a whole.Through coordinated domestic and international educational events, participants study topics to further strengthen North Carolina’s ability to compete in a global economy. For almost 40 years, Go Global NC, part of the world-class University of North Carolina system, has empowered North Carolina’s leaders with the skills, understanding and connections to succeed in a global community.
