The Paderewski Piano Festival honors the legendary Polish pianist Ignacy Jan Paderewski, who first performed in Raleigh a century ago. The festival brings top pianists to Raleigh for a series of recitals and special programs. Sunday's performer Kamil Pacholec won first prize in the 2016 Chopin National Competition in Poland and has taken honors in several other national and international piano competitions.
