Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me

Join the Wake Forest Renaissance Center for an evening of refreshments, information and learning from the experts in the field of dementia research and care. Registration will begin at 5pm, followed by a presentation by Bob Ringham, author of "20 Minutes from Home." The evening will conclude with a special screening of the film Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me. Musician Glen Campbell begins a farewell tour after he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Campbell and his family navigate the unpredictable nature of the disease through love, laughter and music. The critically acclaimed film earned nominations for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Documentary Feature and Satellite Award for Best Documentary Film. This event is designed for anyone with an interest in learning more about Alzheimer's Disease. The program and refreshments are free, but registration is required. This event is presented by the Alzheimer's Association Eastern NC Chapter, The Wake Forest SING and the Town of Wake Forest as part of a commitment to a dementia-friendly community.
