RLCB 50th Anniversary

October 26, 2016

The RLCB will celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Established in 1966, RLCBInc. (formerly known as the Raleigh Lions Clinic for the Blind) continues to provide competitive employment opportunities to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. RLCB not only offers local manufacturing, but offers assistive technology training, vocational rehabilitation services, and continues to strive to eliminate blindness as a disability! Governor Pat McCrory has declared Oct. 2016 as Raleigh Lions Clinic for the Blind's 50th Anniversary. The proclamation recognizes RLCB for “remaining a leader dedicated to providing quality services to its employees, students and adults who are blind and visually impaired.” In recognition of this milestone anniversary, RLCBInc. invites you to its 50th Year Celebration. Please join us in celebrating 50 years of service! Numerous vendors will be on site displaying and demonstrating assistive technology devices and low vision aids and appliances. Representatives from state and local agencies such as N.C. Division of Services for the Blind and others will be on hand to answer questions.
