September 02 – October 29, 2016 (Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

Throughout his long career, Durham artist Titus Brooks Heagins has explored issues of class, race, and culture in his acclaimed photographs. Heagins' exhibition "Rorschach" presents his latest work in which the artist takes stripped down portraits of people in his own community as a means of transforming cultural norms of beauty. A workshop will be held at Chavis Community Center on Saturday, September 17, for the community to engage with Heagins and his process.
