Optimist Community Center, a 10,800 square foot facility, is nestled into Optimist Park located in North Raleigh next to the Optimist Pool. The community center consists of a classroom, gymnasium, showers and restrooms. Both the gymnasium and classroom are available for rent when not being used by Parks and Recreation programs. Some of the numerous programs offered include youth athletics, pre-school classes, art classes, camps, badminton free play and an afterschool program.
