The nationally accredited Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department provides a variety of enjoyable and cost-effective recreation, sports, environmental, historical and cultural arts programs and services to the community. Winner of the 2016 National Gold Medal for Parks Management, Cary has 35 parks and natural areas, a greenway and trails system of more than 80 miles, four sports and entertainment venues and nine facilities with staff to assist you. Offering hundreds of camps, classes, programs and events, Cary provides activities for all ages and abilities.
