William Peace University Theatre empowers students to pursue careers in the fine arts as independent, self-assessing artists who lead and serve by making live theatre as a collective, collaborative and reciprocal act. Students gain valuable experience through classroom study and performances of classic plays and musicals from all periods of history in new and innovative ways that reflect the latest and best in theatre practice and theory.
The Theatre Major at William Peace University trains students in the wide array of collaborative skills and knowledge which make up the work of theatre through performances of new works, including adaptations of literature, both by professional playwrights and student writers.
