Greater Raleigh CVB Picks Up Three Awards at NCACVB Banquet

Raleigh, N.C.--- The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) garnered three Destination Marketing Achievement awards at the Eighth Annual North Carolina Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (NCACVB) Banquet in Winston-Salem on June 7.
The GRCVB picked up a Platinum plaque for Best Trade Print Ad (Meet the New Raleigh), was a Gold winner for Best Destination Marketing Initiative (Monet French Experiences Campaign) and earned an Innovation award for Community Partnerships (Extending the Marketing Reach with Radio Promotions). Of note, Greater Raleigh has collected 40 total NCACVB accolades the past eight years.
The Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau, as the official destination marketing organization of Raleigh and Wake County, accelerates sustainable economic growth and development by increasing visitor and convention business. Of note, visitors spent more than $1.31 billion in Wake County in 2006 that generated more than $366 total savings per local household in state and local taxes.
