Once you've booked your meeting or event in North Carolina's Capital City area, the GRCVB can provide a host of services to ensure you can plan and implement a successful event or meeting. Best of all, most of the services are complimentary.

Housing Coordination

Using more than two hotels? An online housing company will allow your delegates to go online 24/7 to make their own hotel reservation, select the property desired and receive an acknowledgement in real-time. Or if they prefer, they can reserve rooms via phone, mail or fax. You have access to real-time management reports on demand that will keep you updated on movement of rooms and help you make decisions that are crucial to the success of your meeting. The GRCVB is there to help you every step of the way.

Marketing Assistance

For any group using more than two hotels, the Bureau can assist pre-promotion efforts with customized electronic attendance builders. Simply provide the email addresses of your potential delegates and we'll work together to draft an email invitation to tout your event and the best that the Raleigh area has to offer.

Program Literature

Complimentary full-color brochures are available to promote and increase participation in your meeting or event. We offer a variety of electronic images, color slides and black-and-white photos for use in promoting meetings in your newsletters, event programs and audio-visual presentations.

Convention/Event Suppliers

Need to find a local caterer, florist or photographer? Check out our Event Services Directory , which lists local convention and event suppliers who will rent a variety of equipment, will set up any function and will provide a number of necessary services. Or, give our friendly staff a call and we'll be happy to help you find the services you need.

Raleigh Ambassadors

The Raleigh Ambassadors open doors to visitors by staffing hospitality booths and answering questions at conventions, trade shows, festivals, sporting events and any other events that bring out-of-towners to Raleigh. This service is available for groups or 300 or more.

Need help with your registration operations? We can provide registration essentials – cash boxes and a staff of friendly, knowledgeable registration clerks – all at a nominal fee.

Information Resources

We can provide free copies of our Visitors Guide, maps and other resource, all packed with information on the area's attractions. When you want to know what to see and do, where to go, how to get there and what it costs, we can help.

Tour Planning Assistance

We know who can custom-tailor tours to fit your time, audience and interests. With everything from guest programs and children's activities to suggestions for pre- and post-convention trips, we'll help you to get where you want to go.
