Raleigh to Host 5 NCHSAA Championship Events This Fall

More than 2,700 athletes from high schools across North Carolina will descend upon Greater Raleigh this fall, all with the hopes of taking home the ultimate prize of an N.C. High School Athletic Association State Championship.

The City of Raleigh and the GRCVB are proud hosts to the Women's Individual Tennis Championships (Oct. 26-27) held at Millbrook Exchange Tennis Park and Cary Tennis Park, as well as Men's Soccer (Nov. 16-17) at WRAL Soccer Center. NC State University welcomes athletes in volleyball (Nov. 3), cheerleading (Nov. 17) and football (December 8).

Officials are expecting the various tournaments to generate 2,500 room nights with an economic impact of nearly $2 million.
