They’re here, they’re real and they’re alive! With a collection of animals comparable to a mid-size zoo, the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences is considered among the nation’s top science museums. Live animal programs, high-definition movies, seasonal special events and First Fridays – all free of charge make the Museum a perfect place for a date, family or group outing!

Spend a delightfully different evening on the First Friday of every month. Enjoy light fare plus beer and wine from the Acro Café, shop at the Museum Store, groove to live music and stroll through fabulous exhibits. At 7 pm, catch a free cult classic at The Natural Horror Picture Show.
