Described as a “jewel of nature cut from the rocks by decades of hard labor,” Fantasy Lake Scuba Park has been recognized as the Southeast’s premier scuba facility. The first time visitor will be awed by the panorama of stone cliffs lifting out of the crystal waters and marine life is abundant in the lake. The acreage around the Lake is fenced and available for hiking and primitive camping. At Fantasy Lake, a diver can walk to the highest point in Wake County up “Fantasy Lake Mountain” and then dive underwater 80 feet to the lowest point in Wake County.
