There will also be a special tribute to Dr. King’s immense effect on the spiritual community. The Herbert C. Young Community Center Dream in Cary will host the Unity Ecumenical Observance on Sunday, January 18th at 6pm. All faiths and beliefs are welcome so spread the word to your friends and join numerous secular and religious leaders in their remembrance of MLK.

If these two events don’t fit your schedule, take a day off and head to Downtown Raleigh on Monday, January 18th and participate in the Dream of Democracy Unity March /Rally. Unite with others as they march to commemorate a legend and to keep his cause alive. The march begins at 11 a.m. at the State Capital Building so bring your spirit and comfortable walking shoes!
