Are you looking for something unique to do with friends and family this fall? If so, then Garner has a fun treat for you to enjoy. The Korny Corn Maze by Ken’s Produce is the longest operating corn maze in North Carolina, and it has had time to flourish into a wonderful family attraction over the years.

The fun doesn’t stop at the end of the 2.5-mile famous corn maze but continues on with an 8,000-square-foot Rope Maze, a Children’s Maze made of straw for beginners, a huge Gourd Checkers play board, Monster Truck and Tractor wooden playground equipment, miniature golf, and even relaxing, slow hay rides.  Ken’s has plenty of entertainment for an entire afternoon (or evening) of fun, but if you come at night make sure to bring a flashlight.

If you’re looking for thrills, chills and things that go bump in the night, then you should visit Ken’s Corn Maze during the 2011 Horrortainment haunted corn maze. Starting October 15th and continuing each Friday and Saturday through Halloween on the 31st, this chilling experience is perfect for those looking to get spooked. Tickets are $17 and include the haunted corn maze, haunted house and haunted woods behind the farm.

If you’d rather keep it light and scary-free, the Corn Maze is open to the public Friday through Sunday and costs $10 for people age six and up. Ken’s is very welcoming of school field trips and private groups, which can be booked Monday through Thursday. The Maze will only be open for the season, so gather up a crowd and head out to have some unique outdoor fun the whole family will enjoy.
