With the illustrious 150-acre WakeMed Soccer Park in its backyard and a renowned football club within its borders, Cary provides soccer lovers with hours of exciting, competitive fun and a great place to mingle with other soccer enthusiasts!
WakeMed Soccer Park, operated by the town of Cary, opened officially in 2002 and was named after sponsor WakeMed Cary Hospital. Home to the Carolina RailHawks, the park’s main attraction is a lighted stadium field boasting seating for 7,000+. The park also includes two lighted practice fields, five other fields, and other amenities that only compliment your experience!
The best thing is, there’s always something going on at the Park! Whether it be a professional match, a RailHawks home game, or local college match, the Park is sure to please all soccer fans. Or for those in your group that are not particularly fond of that sport, the Park also offers a great deal of low-impact sports including Ultimate Frisbee, lacrosse, and a world-class cross country course!
