HerbFest, the longest running herb festival in the US, is family friendly and as always, a free event, held outdoors rain or shine.
HerbFest is a fundraiser for the Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment (GJCAE.org) which was created when HerbFest founders, Bob and Elizabeth Johnson, lost their son Graham to suicide in 2006. The 26th Annual Wake Forest HerbFest will be held downtown Wake Forest. The event will feature a variety of vendors appealing to those interested in gardening, home, art, cooking and a healthy lifestyle; food trucks, and a large selection of organic herbs, organic vegetable plants and perennials. On Saturday, April 26th, Dave Devlin Music will entertain the crowd from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and on Sunday April 27, duo Angela and Will will perform from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. The Franklin Academy Jazz Band will perform on Saturday May 3rd.
