39th Annual Wake Forest CROP Hunger Walk

About

Take part in either a 1.5K walk or a 5K walk on sidewalks in Wake Forest. Walkers will raise money for food and other resources for families in the Wake Forest area and around the world. Also, please bring non-perishable food donations to the sign-in table. People from Wake Forest and the surrounding areas are invited to participate, including religious communities, businesses, schools, non-profit agencies, organizations, or any individuals who want to help those in need. Registration and pre-walk activities for walkers will begin at 1:30pm and step-off together will be at 2:30pm. Church World Service (www.cwsglobal.org), established in 1946, will distribute money from CROP Hunger Walk to self-help global food and water projects and to disaster relief in more than 30 countries as well as in the USA. This year 25% of funds raised will help support Wake Forest Tri-Area Ministry (www.triareaministry.com) and Wake Forest Hope House, Inc. (www.hopehousewf.org).
