Dan Carlin is an award-winning podcaster, author, and journalist best known for his groundbreaking show Hardcore History, which has been downloaded over 100 million times. A pioneer in the podcasting world since 2005, Carlin is renowned for his gripping storytelling and deep dives into historical events.
He also hosted the acclaimed political podcast Common Sense and co-created War Remains, a powerful virtual reality experience about World War I, currently on display at the National WWI Museum in Kansas City. Carlin is also the author of the New York Times bestseller The End is Always Near.
With a background in television and radio journalism, he brings decades of experience and passion for history, politics, and media. He lives in Eugene, Oregon, with his wife and two daughters.
