About

February is Girl Scout Cookie month, and what better way to celebrate than discovering how well these iconic treats pair with your favorite brews?

We’ll kick things off at Lynnwood Brewing Concern, where you can create your own four-beer flight or try our recommended pairings with Girl Scout Cookies.  Along the way, you’ll get the inside scoop on nearby breweries and a bit of the local history that makes this neighborhood so special.

Your guide is Natalie Hampton, owner of Taps & Corks Tours. Natalie has been writing about North Carolina beer and wine for 12 years on the Tarheel Taps & Corks blog. She enjoys sharing her passion for North Carolina beer through walking tours and always looks forward to seasonal beers and ciders.

Note: You must be 21 to participate. Tour is rain or shine. Wear good shoes for walking and clothing appropriate for the weather – we’ll be outside for at least part of our exploration. Plan to arrive at the brewery 10-15 minutes early to park at Loading Dock and locate the group. Parking can be challenging, so plan accordingly.
