Join The Halle Cultural Arts Center as they celebrate Black History Month with artwork by Jahn Anderson and Charlton Cole. This exhibition's reception has been rescheduled to February 25, with the exhibition running through March 1.

Jahn Anderson is an artist who works in a variety of mediums and substrates. He has been painting professionally for 30 years. Jahn’s art has been printed and published in the News and Observer, The Wilson Daily Times, and The Daily Reflector. In February 2019, he was the featured Artist for Black History Month for The Arts Council of Wayne County, Goldsboro, NC.

Charlton Cole likes to capture the beauty in nature. His landscape paintings usually start with an image on paper or on location “En plein air”. With each painting, he uses an impressionistic technique to bring each piece to life. To Charlton, art is an expression of his personal feelings, the subject or colors that inspire him and his materials and technique. Sharing his love of art using colors or whatever subject matter that inspires him to paint is his primary goal.
