In addition, the Chapter has been highlighted at events such as the Charlotte Jumper Classic, Carolina Panther games, collegiate football and basketball events, including the CIAA and MEAC tournaments. The Chapter has participated in various parades throughout the country, including the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
The Greater North Carolina Chapter is extremely proud of its community service and educational outreach programs. It has partnered with other Association Chapters, community organizations and governmental agencies throughout the country in numerous youth initiatives. These programs have served as a source of pride and have had positive impact in our communities.
Each year, the Chapter awards college scholarships to qualified students in North Carolina. We have successfully partnered with The Celebrate Freedom Foundation (CFF) in implementing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) educational programs. The Chapter has also worked tirelessly towards helping Veterans and rendering aid to victims during natural disasters.
