Buzzard Company is a Heartland Garage Rock quartet based in Raleigh, led by Mike Mullarkey. Buzzard Company harnesses the forgotten and familiar, drawing inspiration from psychedelic blues, grunge, heartland, and garage rock to create a high-energy, guitar-driven batch of songs. Mullarkey's lyrics reflect upon the disintegrating political landscape, earnest self-examination, and the anxiety and optimism of uncertain times.
Buck Swope is a dynamic, instrument‑swapping trio from Durham, North Carolina, made up of long‑time friends Logan, Josh, and Griffin. Their sound draws on influences like slowcore, post‑rock, and noisier, aggressive textures—crafting music that shifts between quiet and explosive, evoking a kind of sonic bad dream. They independently recorded, mixed, and released their full-length Bruiser in May 2024. Their subsequent EP upstairs//downstairs followed in mid‑2025. Check it out now on all streaming platforms.
