Bygone Daze: Celebrating 150 Years at the Page-Walker

About

Join the Town of Cary and the Friends of the Page-Walker Hotel to celebrate 150 years of the Page-Walker! Built in 1868 by Cary's founder, Frank Page, to serve passengers on the Southern and Seaboard railroads, the hotel operated until the early 20th century. Since then it's been a boardinghouse, a private home, and for the last quarter century, home to Cary's arts and history center.

The celebration will take you back to the hotel's early days in the Victorian Age, and will be filled with opportunities for both entertainment and enlightenment. Planned activities include:

  • Music by Huckleberry Brothers Band
  • Carriage rides
  • Food trucks
  • Craft demonstrations
  • Old fashioned games
  • Scavenger hunt
  • Music by Triangle Mountain Dulcimer Association
  • History displays
  • Costumed personalities from the past
  • and so much more!
