In this world premiere, Resident Choreographer Amy Hall Garner inventively reimagines Carmen with powerful theatricality and a fresh choreographic voice. A collaboration with the North Carolina Museum of Art, the ballet draws inspiration from the Museum’s exhibition on the Book of Esther, weaving themes of strength, agency, and transformation into Bizet’s iconic score.
