Celebrating Art & Transportation on Blue Ridge Road

The City is hosting a ribbon-cutting celebration for the completion of improvements along Blue Ridge Road South between Duraleigh Road and Homewood Banks Drive. The project includes new sidewalks, a multi-use path, and roadway upgrades to improve safety and accessibility. It also features a public art installation with sculptures at nine locations, each inspired by poems from North Carolina poet laureates, creating a poetry walk experience along the corridor.
