Conservation Convos: Something to Howl About

Are you wild about wolves? Enjoy a screening of IMAX’s brand-new documentary, Lost Wolves of Yellowstone that shares long lost footage of the daring reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park. After the film, hear from experts on wolf recovery efforts happening right here in North Carolina. Speaker: Kim Wheeler – Executive Director of the Red Wolf Coalition. The Coalition also teaches about the value of red wolves to the ecosystem and to the people living in the restoration area. The RWC works with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service Red Wolf Recovery Program to stay up-to-date on red wolf restoration and management issues and to partner in the effort to maintain healthy populations of wild red wolves.
