Coppelia

Cary Ballet Company's annual Spring Works production features the full-length ballet, Coppélia. This fable is charming and funny and is for all ages. Set in a quaint village, you will see wind-up dolls, festive dancing, and a dash of magic from Dr. Coppelius, the town toymaker. Dancers have mistaken identity, a commemoration for the new town clock, and a wedding celebration with several joyous dances.

Award winning Ensembles by Andrea Astuto, 'The Catcher's Dream' and Heather Iler, 'Les Enfants Joyeux' are not to be missed! Each piece has dynamic movement to intriguing music. From serious to light-hearted, dancers speak with their dancing.
