Get ready to ride your heart out and fund-raise for a better biking future in Raleigh! Come out and support Oaks and Spokes - Raleigh's biking advocacy organization on a mission to turn the City of Oaks into the City of Spokes. We all want better biking infrastructure and we need you to help to fund-raise for a better future. Help Oaks and Spokes reach their annual fund-raising goal of $25,000 so they can hire more staff, build more capacity, and get some really sweet swag while you do it! They're partnering with the 919 Collective, who are creating custom items just for this event. (get excited!)
This event features a 12 mile slow roll, no drop marked course for this ride, which will stop at three local breweries - Crank Arm Brewing, Trophy on Maywood, and Raleigh Brewing. Drink tickets are included with your registration, and soda can be substituted for beer. You will also automatically be entered into a raffle to win prizes! Virtual riders will receive the same gear as in person riders. There will be multiple pick-up days to hand out swag for any virtual riders.
The in-person ride will be October 31 from 10am-2pm, or select the "Virtual" ride and ride independently throughout the month of October. This event will be all outdoors and group sizes will be limited. In the event that anything is canceled due to COVID, all tickets will be refunded in full. This is a family friendly event! All children ride 16 and under ride free with any adult.
