The Men’s Club will again sponsor a document shredding day to allow Garner area residents to have their tax and other documents recycled by a commercial shredding company. There is a limit of 10 containers that can be brought in to be shredded, and there is no charge for this community service. We do, however, ask that you seriously consider providing a significant donation that the club can use to cover the $750 cost of having the company’s equipment available for this service. Any funds over and above the actual costs involved will be used to support scholarships for kids to attend summer camp at camp Agape, near Fuquay-Varina or other local community service projects. Please help us serve those in need in our community.
Please note that staples from an office type staple gun, as well as, paper clips can be put through the shredder. Items such as 3-ring metal binders or other metal items cannot be put through the shredder, so please remove them before your submission.
