About
Doug Davis is a North Carolina musician, songwriter, and recording artist with decades of experience performing, producing, and composing for film, TV, and jingles. Drawing on collaborations with artists like Chris Stamey, Mitch Easter, Alejandro Escovedo, and Robyn Hitchcock, Davis blends American roots with power-pop, indie-folk, and post-punk. He has opened for acts such as Cracker, The Smithereens, and Smashmouth, and his music has appeared on shows including Saturday Night Live, Dateline, The Voice, and Last Call with Carson Daly. In addition to performing, he runs a successful studio in Winston-Salem, working with clients like Rhiannon Giddens and Chris Daughtry, and focuses on crafting intentional, story-driven songs with talented collaborators.
Bass Battery is a rock duo featuring Norwood Cheek on bass and vocals and Rob Ladd on drums. Their debut album, Life in Shambles, showcases a driving indie rock sound that pushes the boundaries of just bass and drums.
