Dani Coan is an actor and writer in the RTP Area that started her theater journey at NC State University. Dani majored in social work and appeared in several productions with the University Theater program and in the community. In 2021, she won the Performing Artist of the Year Award. In 2022, Dani wrote and starred in her own one-woman show, Mosaic as a part of TheatreFest. She has worked with several community theaters, including Burning Coal, Justice Theater Project and Raleigh Little Theater. Dani’s work focuses on eating disorders, therapy, and radical self healing. Her next project will be Ex-Boyfriends, a play that tackles the challenges of relationships with others and with the self through the power of poetry, therapy, and puppets.
