About
ABS Master Smith E Scott McGhee (Guinea Hog Forge) will be teaching how to hand forge a 6" Chef Knife in this 3 day course. He will guide you in forging the hidden tang knife to shape, and then show the grinding, heat treating and handling process to finish with a fully functional blade. Students are recommended to have knife grinding and forging experience before taking this class. This program is funded in part by the City of Raleigh based on recommendations of the Raleigh Arts Commission.
Prior knife grinding and/or forging experience is highly recommended.
