FREE SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK - CAROLINA SHAKESPEARE in partnership with RALEIGH LITTLE THEATRE presents an all-day SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL. The Festival features distilled versions of ten of the Bard’s iconic plays, with one starting every thirty minutes. The playlets include: Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Midsummer Night's Dream, Othello, As You Like It, 12th Night, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear, and The Taming of the Shrew. EVERYONE is invited to attend all or part of the Festival; it is a drop-in event, come when you want and stay as long as you like. Bring the whole family, lawn chairs and a picnic basket (no alcohol), and spend a beautiful afternoon in the park with the fun and excitement of live Shakespeare Theatre.
