Garner Juneteenth Celebration

The Garner Juneteenth Committee invites the community to our annual Juneteenth Celebration. This year’s theme focuses on telling the story and recognizing the importance of Black landowners in Garner. Through powerful storytelling, the program will feature local choirs, dance performances and narrative segments woven together with interview clips that bring history to life through the voices of residents and their ancestors. Special remarks will be shared by Deborah Ross and Buddy Gupton.
