GROOVIN' IN GARNER

We are revamping a favorite among locals and visitors alike, with our free concert series featuring local and regional party bands playing classic rock and pop, 70s, 80s, and 90s hits, R&B dance, Top 40, country, and Motown favorites.

Please Note: If you prefer different genres, shows or activities, the Town of Garner has you covered with a variety of performances at the Garner Performing Arts Center and Garner Parks, and Recreation offers a variety of town events.

Each concert features a local or regional party band playing classic rock and pop, 70s, 80s, and 90s hits, R&B dance, Top 40, country, and Motown favorites. Concerts get underway at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 9:30 p.m.

While you're downtown, you're invited to visit the variety of downtown dining establishments or enjoy delicious food from a variety of food trucks that will be on site at each event. No outside alcohol or coolers will be permitted during the event, but beer and wine will be available for purchase within the festival area starting at 5 p.m. Alcohol vendors manage their own alcohol sales and are responsible for identification checks as required by law.

Bring a lawn chair and blanket - but if you bring a lawn chair and/or blanket, please place them in the green space area - not on the sidewalk. Please leave the sidewalks open for pedestrians. Chairs should not be placed in the green space area until after 4:30 p.m. Please leave your pets at home.
